Never will the Word of God pass away; Jesus, the living Word remained with the disciples although His physical presence had gone. The Word was with them and in them. The disciples recognized that the Word made flesh and dwelt among them, and they knew they had His power. Miracles were wrought as they used the power: the sick were healed, devils cast out, signs and wonders took place in the Name of Jesus. The One whom people had hated so much that they had crucified Him was the very One in whose Name they would find salvation.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
-Acts 4:12
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I Am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
